About Me

I solve problems people actually adopt, speaking business & tech with joy.

I have learned something counterintuitive: systems rarely fail because they're poorly designed. They fail because they don't honor how people actually work.

At Taj Hotels in Mumbai, I learned service operations through a paradox: delivering seamless experiences required understanding that chaos exists within structure. You can't architect perfect service by perfecting systems. You architect it by understanding what guests actually need, then building processes around that. Across hotels and cities, this taught me my first principle: listen to how people work, then design for it. That principle deepened during an unexpected pressure test. In 2017, India's demonetization fractured payment pipelines overnight. At Taj Wellington Mews, I watched sales teams navigate impossible uncertainty. In that chaos, I realized: the organisations that survived weren't those with the most sophisticated systems. They were the ones who had mapped their processes deeply enough to understand where they were fragile. Process thinking became my compass for resilience.

I carried both lessons to Australia for my Master's at Monash University. But I didn't just study business strategy, I immersed myself in collaboration; Leading Partnerships at TEDxMonashUniversity, volunteering with Graduate Association, performing with Monash University Student Theatre Group, as well as taking a Study Abroad module in Europe. I learned that adaptability isn't a skill. It's a mindset that comes from genuine exposure to different ways of thinking.

Then came Infosys Business Process Management. I worked across Telecommunications and Healthcare projects, regulated industries. I managed stakeholders across offshore and onshore teams. But the moment that crystallised everything: I was looking at spreadsheets of operational data, and I realised these weren't just numbers. The spreadsheet was a map of human friction. That's when I understood: Data is a window into where people are stuck.

Now, in data science and AI, I'm pursuing the logical next step. If spreadsheets revealed human friction, then machine learning and pattern discovery can transform that friction into flow. But not with algorithms alone. With algorithms designed for adoption, transparent enough for people to understand, governed enough for people to trust, built closely enough with teams that they believe in it.

Process improvement work in regulated, high volume service environments. I paired hands on operational knowledge with structured analysis and real data to lift compliance, efficiency and service quality across telecoms and healthcare. This is where spreadsheets stopped being numbers and started showing me where things were stuck, which is what pulled me toward data science.

Three consecutive projects at once across 12,000+ accounts under strict copliance rules. Converted Excel data into actionable insights, working closely with internal teams, outside vendors.
Quality Audit
Ran quality and compliance audits on inbound calls, tickets and chats. Digging into the root causes turned up real knowledge gaps that impacted the budget, thus reducing costs.
SLA Monitoring
As the subject matter expert, I built Excel reports and automated trackers to keep an eye on SLA adherence and customer satisfaction. Ran quality audits for a team of 50 and set up the training that raised the bar.
DEI Engagement Initiative
Started a diversity and inclusion networking effort inside a quiet ANZ team. Designed and ran events online and in person with senior clients, and APAC engagement raised in Q3 2024.

Two years at Taj Hotels. It began with an 18 month management traineeship rotating through luxury hotel operations, and ended with an Assistant Sales Manager role driving revenue and looking after diplomatic and VIP accounts right through India's GST transition. It gave me a real grounding in operations, service and commercial thinking, the things that later turned into process improvement and data work. It is also where adaptability became a quiet superpower.

Co-wrote a group wide safety standard based on Tata Group guidelines, covering product standards, emergency procedures, training and vehicle checklists. Once leadership signed off, it was rolled out across Taj hotels.
Guest segmentation & “Kidz at Taj” · Taj Santacruz
Segmented guests using reservation and F&B occupancy signals, then led the cross team rollout of the “Kidz at Taj” family programme across F&B and guest services. Medallia NPS rose 20 points in three weeks. I also brought in a pre arrival preference form for membership guests.
Multi-property rotation impact
Rotated through five very different properties, from resorts to city and airport hotels, and used what I picked up to push catering sales efficiency up 15% while finding my feet quickly with each new team.

Root Cause Analysis

Process improvement case study. Inconsistent fragmented sources and manual roll-ups that produced inaccurate numbers which teams could not trust. I mapped four drivers, each rooted in specific, fixable breakpoints, explaining the gap to leadership with recommendations for improvement.

AI-Driven Robotic Chemistry

A “Beyond the Blue Bottle” demonstration for Robotics and Automation in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool: the “Traffic Light” redox experiment, run autonomously. As a team we delivered a functional robotic program for the UR5 arm that performs the experiment end to end, with automated stirring and manipulation, digital instrument interfacing (IKA RCT Digital plate), liquid handling, and multi-state colour detection using a YOLO model that reads colour transitions and their durations. Designed and run within COSHH safety controls, turning a manual bench process into a repeatable, governed run.
